Abstract and Final Presentation Submission

The Scientific Committee of the 6th National Conference of the Indian Society of Dental Traumatology (ISDT 2026) invites delegates and students to submit abstract for scientific papers and e-posters for the conference.

  1. The presenter(s) must be registered for the conference prior to submission of abstract.
  2. The submitted work must be original, unpublished, and not previously presented at any national or international conference. It is desired that the pictures and graphical content used by the authors for narrative reviews are not copyrighted and preferably owned by the authors. Emphasis will be placed on originality, innovation, and clinical relevance.
  3. Student presenters are required to obtain prior permission from their supervising faculty member and the Head of the Department before submitting the abstract for presentation. A submission will be deemed as acceptance of this condition.
  4. Each participant can present only one scientific paper or e-poster. However, he/she may serve as a co-presenter on any number of other presentations.
  5. Maximum of two presenting authors are allowed for any presentation.
  6. The certificates of presenting author/s or co-authors will only be provided to the registered delegates or students.
  7. All abstracts must be submitted through the link provided on the conference website on or before 31st January 2026. The medium of communication is English.
  8. Submissions are accepted under the following categories related to dento-alveolar trauma: case reports/case series, Original research, and systematic reviews/narrative reviews.
  9. Abstract format (to be copied and pasted in the online form):
    Title (short, concise, interesting)
    Body (maximum 300 words)
    o Structured abstract (Background, Aim, Methodology, Results, Conclusion) for original research and systematic reviews.
    o Unstructured abstract for case reports and narrative reviews.
  10. . Once submitted, abstracts and presentations cannot be revised or replaced.
  11. The abstracts will be reviewed by the scientific committee and decision will be communicated within 15 days of the last date of submission.
  12. The details of presentation format and timing will also be communicated to the presenting authors in due course.
    o Scientific paper: 8 minutes presentation + 2 minutes discussion,
    o E-poster: 3 minutes presentation + 2 minutes discussion.
  13. All the presentations are eligible for the ISDT Awards- Delegate Gold/Silver/Bronze Medals and Student Gold/Silver/Bronze Medals for each category- Paper (Case report/Review/Original Research), E-poster (Case report/Review/Original Research).
