a. To promote the awareness of Prevention and Emergency management of Traumatic Dental Injuries at the community level.

b. To promote the awareness of Prevention and Emergency management of Traumatic Dental Injuries among the school teachers.

c. To promote the awareness of Prevention and Emergency management of Traumatic Dental Injuries among the medical and dental students.

d. To promote the awareness of Prevention and Emergency management of Traumatic Dental Injuries among the Private dental practitioners and Dental health care professionals at the primary health care centres.

e. To promote the awareness of Prevention and Emergency management of Traumatic Dental Injuries among the medical fraternities.

f. To promote the awareness of Prevention and Emergency management of Traumatic Dental Injuries among the regional and national level sports persons and coaching staff. This aspect will be related to sports dentistry and would involve improvement in access to mouth guards and related equipment.

g. To associate with State and National Government Health administration and work with them to increase awareness about trauma and emergency management for common man.

h. To associate with State and National Disaster management and work with them to increase awareness and emergency management for the Volunteers.

i. To bring together the professionals of various dental specialities (both clinicians and academicians) involved and interested in improving the dental trauma management related knowledge, protocols and research.

j. To provide a platform for exchange of knowledge and expertise among dental professionals in all parts of India.

k. To promote the dental traumatology related research among various dental specialities at post graduate and post-doctoral levels.

l. To Organise the Continuing Dental Education Programmes, Public awareness campaigns, Webinars and conferences related to various aspects of Dental Traumatology in India and publish books and periodicals.

m. To collaborate with International Society of Dental Traumatology for increased benefits of the members of ISDT and increased representation of India at International level.

n. To establish a fair and academically oriented system of representation across India for benefit of members of ISDT.

o. To create a trauma registry for each state of the Indian union and a National trauma registry.

p. The Activities of the Society would be confined to the Territory of India.
